Reason Why He Was So Pleased

One October day of Juche 106(2017) the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un inspected a shoes factory.

That day he looked round various places of the factory and learnt about its production. When he approached the production line of the shoemaking workshop he gazed at a nameplate for a while. It was the name of the machine factory which produced the production line.

After a while he said to accompanying officials with satisfaction that the shoe-making production line was also made on our own, and he was pleased the most to see such.

The officials were deeply impressed. Though lots of people looked round the production site, they cared nothing for the nameplate. However, the respected General Secretary expressed his pleasure at our self-made creation as if he found some treasure and held it as the most precious wealth.

Looking at the impact tester and football boots characteristic tester that day, he praised the scientists and technicians for making many equipment and measuring instruments by themselves and said that he was very pleased when he saw the equipment and instruments made on our own.

Looking up to the respected General Secretary who gave undeserved appreciation to them, the officials keenly realized how ardent his attachment to and trust in our own thing are and how precious the creation of self-reliance is.

Valuing Self-development Most

There are many creations built by dint of self-reliance on this land and each of them has a touching story which should be conveyed through generations.

Among them is a story associated with the Sokmak Atlantic Salmon Pedigree Farm.

One July day of Juche 107(2018) the respected General Secretary inspected the farm.

That day he called in on the vaccine cultivating place during his inspection.

The farm had been making a vaccine for prevention of disease of fish with their own efforts there.

In the past the farm had imported the vaccine for fish farming from abroad and therefore it suffered a great trouble when the vaccine was not brought in time.

But now the farm could develop the vaccine on its own and decrease the death of fish.

Learning about it, the respected General Secretary said that it is a laudable thing that the farm develops the vaccine on its own. And he expressed great satisfaction saying that the self-development is the best.

The self-development is the best!

Indeed, the success achieved by the farm was a precious fruition produced by the wise leadership of the respected General Secretary who leads everyone step by step to solve everything by their own efforts.
