Pyongyang, February 21 (KCNA) -- A national seminar on the theme of "The great Comrade Kim Jong Il 's career and exploits" took place in Mexico on Feb. 10 on the occasion of the significant February holiday.
Present there were members of the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and its branches, personages of political parties, organizations and institutions of Mexico and other people.
A keynote address and speeches were made at the seminar.
Ramon Jimenez Lopez, chairman of the Mexican Committee for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism who is the director-general of the International Institute of the Juche Idea, said in his keynote address that the Juche idea followers in Mexico are recollecting with deep emotion the revolutionary career and exploits of Comrade Kim Jong Il on the occasion of his birth anniversary.
Speakers noted that Chairman Kim Jong Il firmly defended socialism and sovereignty of the DPRK under the uplifted banner of Songun, dynamically advanced the cause of global socialism and made a ceaseless long journey of patriotic devotion for the prosperity of the country and happiness of the people.
They also referred to the achievements being made by the DPRK people in the struggle for bolstering up the national defence capability and building a powerful socialist country under the wise guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un . -0-
