Pyongyang, February 22 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un , general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, received a message of greeting from G. Zhuganov, chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, on Feb. 16.
The message said:

We extend congratulations to you on the occasion of the 82nd birth anniversary of Comrade Kim Jong Il , the great leader of the Korean people.
Comrade Kim Jong Il devoted his whole life to the improvement of the Korean people's living.
He, an outstanding statesman and man of practice, carried forward the cause of the great leader Comrade Kim Il Sung and mobilized the Korean people to build a powerful socialist country by pursuing the Songun politics in the unstable international situation.
