Pyongyang, February 24 (KCNA) -- There took place the 37th Science and Technology Festival of Kim Il Sung University from February 20 to 23.
The theme of the festival was "Science and technology are a decisive guarantee for the fulfillment of the Five-Year Plan." Presented to it were 190 valuable research achievements conducive to the development of science and technology of the country and tens of kinds of locally produced new technological products.
The festival was held in the forms of presentation and exhibition of sci-tech successes, exhibition contest of units, sci-tech forum and exchange of new technologies, divided into six panels including key industrial, agricultural, and land and environmental protection panels.
Amid brisk technical exchanges, successes and experience gained in researches were swapped and new seeds of scientific research selected. -0-
