Pyongyang, February 24 (KCNA) -- A joint on-line seminar of Serbian and Croatian political parties took place on Feb. 10 to mark the 82nd birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il .
Present there were personages and members of the Serbian Communist Party, the New Yugoslav Communist Party and the Socialist Workers' Party of Croatia and members of the Serbian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea.
Speeches were made there.
The international secretary of the New Yugoslav Communist Party said that the great Comrade Kim Jong Il 's Songun politics was a powerful political mode making it possible to firmly maintain independence under the complicated world situation, adding that progressive mankind always remember the exploits of the great master of independent politics who led the struggle for defending socialism to victory, braving the prevailing difficulties.
The general secretary and concurrently international secretary of the Serbian Communist Party said:
Comrade Kim Jong Il led the Korean revolution in the grim situation caused by the imperialists' vicious moves to isolate and stifle the DPRK.
His great exploits were that he turned the DPRK into a nuclear weapons state.
Today the DPRK is carrying forward and accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Comrade Kim Jong Il under the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un , another prominent great man.
The DPRK is a socialist country admired by the whole world.
A member of the Socialist Workers' Party of Croatia praised the DPRK for achieving eye-opening development in all fields under the wise guidance of Kim Jong Il . -0-
