There is the Sci-Tech Complex in the capital city of Pyongyang.
It was inaugurated in January Juche 105(2016).
Kim Yong Myong, Department Head of the Sci-Tech Complex, says:
"Our Sci-Tech Complex is a multi-functional hub of scientific and technological dissemination and a comprehensive large-scale e-library.
Since it opened, the complex has been visited by millions of working people of various stripes and school youth and children as well as scientists, technicians and educators."
One day in June Juche 103(2014), the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Ssuk Islet and said the Ssuk Islet should be transformed into an island of science and that the Sci-Tech Complex should be built wonderfully into a dear home in which scientists, technicians, researchers, students and all other people acquire knowledge to their hearts' content.
In order to achieve a rapid development in all sectors of the national economy we should make all people well versed in science and technology and we should make our country a world's sci-tech power and talent power in the near future, he added.
A few months later, Kim Jong Un visited the construction site of the Sci-Tech Complex andsaid the Sci-Tech Complex is a great temple of learning for all the people including scientists and technicians and a hub of disseminating latest science and technology throughout the country. And he stressed the need to build it perfectly in terms of architectural beauty and practicality.
The Sci-Tech Complex was built under his leadership.
It is a noble intention of Kim Jong Un to powerfully speed up the building of a powerful socialist country with the might of science and technology.
