Dozens of young people in Nampho Municipality of the DPRK volunteered to work at major theaters of socialist construction, true to the resolutions of the 9th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the administrative policy of the DPRK government.
Those of Chollima District and Taean District requested the youth league organizations to send them to the Chollima Steel Complex and the Taean Heavy Machine Complex.
Many youths in the municipality including Hanggu District, Waudo District and Ryonggang County vowed to work at farms and join in the district and county construction brigades.
Those of Kangso District and Onchon County petitioned to work at the Kumsong Tractor Factory, the municipal youth shock brigade and construction sites.
A meeting took place at the Nampho Municipal Art Theatre on Sunday to congratulate the volunteers.
Officials, youth and students presented bouquets to the volunteers and encouraged them leaving for new revolutionary posts.
