With Single Mind to Contribute to Building Prosperous Country

In Kosan County, there are the family workteam members called a collective with high fighting efficiency.

They are just wives of the county Party committee officials.

In the past, they astonished the county by doing well farm work, and they have worked sincerely in rain or shine in recent years, undertaking even the road management by themselves. And last year, they went to the construction sites of power stations in Kangwon Province to inspire the shock brigade members while devoting their pure sweats.

Whenever they became tired, Kim Won Ok, head of them, took warm care of the members’ life with motherly affection and also Kim Ryon Mi and Ri Chun Ok positively helped all the members overcome the facing difficulties closely united as one in mind and purpose in the van of the workteam.

They, who grew up into the powerful collective performing any difficult works readily in those period, visited the construction site of Jonwi Street with aid materials they prepared in June last year and encouraged the builders while working tighter with them and conducting the agitation activities.

For them who should undertake big or small houseworks instead of their husbands, Party officials, it is easier said than done to do difficult and labor-consuming works. But until now, they have worked hard to contribute to building a prosperous country.

Regarding Cobbles As Gem

Workers of the building materials platoon under the Pukchong County Construction Brigade are used to feeling pride of their job whenever looking at the creations made by themselves.

It is because they are full of pride of beautifying their native place on their own with raw materials abundant in the county.

In fact, the platoon failed to provide the building materials needed for the rural construction enough several years ago.

So, the inhabitants in the county used to covert goods that belongs to other county.

Painfully thinking of that before everything else, Ri Thak Hyong and other platoon members directed their attention to granite by-products abundant in the county.

They established by themselves the rational production process at last after a series of failures and produced the first artificial slate but there were delight with lessons.

Later, they strove to find more resources of local raw materials and thus they found quality field of materials and the resource of colored stone in the mountain and rivers respectively.

As a result, they could make various building parts necessary for the county construction.

In those days, they felt again the fact that nothing is impossible when one bears the patriotic mind to value the cobbles as gems and turns one’s hometowns into beautiful and civilized ones.

Undertakings of Her Own Choice

There are persons respected by the masses in the Ryongbi Farm of the South Phyongan Provincial Rural Economy Committee.

They are the aged helping farm work voluntarily though they became pensioners.

A few years ago, Kim Yong Ae and other old persons have undertaken the low-yielding fields of the farm voluntarily.

Saying that the low-yielding fields are also affiliated to their farm, they volunteered to cultivate such fields.

It was not easy for them to improve sterile land, but they have cultivated the fields with their skills of yesterday’s faithful farmers while working hard on the windy fields everyday.

For enriching the infertile field, they have gathered the liquid manure all the winter and when the sowing was in full swing, they have carried the farming work materials and have passed the whole night without sleep.

Thanks to their efforts, they reaped the rich harvest last year, too, going against one’s expectations.

Whenever young farmers persuade them to work by easy stages, they are used to telling that the work with one’s willingness is not difficult.

Until now, they have devoted their patriotic mind to the field with the ardent intention to beautify their native land.
