Patriotic Will He Deeply Implanted

The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un went to Mangyongdae Revolutionary School to plant trees with its students in March Juche 106(2017).

That day its teaching staff and students were wrapped in boundless emotion as they were honored with seeing him close at hand.

While looking at the students dearly who were absorbed in digging the pits for planting the trees, the respected General Secretary planted trees with them after kindly saying that they should be the backbone of our revolutionary armed forces in the future.

The accompanying officials were moved to tears to look up to him who was teaching the students the matters of common sense related to tree-planting, though his hems and shoes were stained with mud.

Telling the officials that the baton of the revolution should be inherited in the patriotism, too, he said such meaningful words: through the course of planting the trees, we should implant in the minds of the students the attachment to the country’s mountains and streams and the master-like attitude that all assets are their possessions; only when one has warm love for the country from one’s childhood, one can become a true patriot and a genuine official desired by the Party who does the work for prosperity of the country for oneself at any post assigned by the Party in the future…

Bearing in their minds his instructions word by word, the officials made firm pledge to train the students to be the genuine patriots desired by the respected General Secretary.

Revolutionary Time He Devoted Willingly

The following happened in March Juche 101(2012) when the respected General Secretary inspected a unit of the Korean People’s Army.

After looking round various places of the unit, he said in cheerful voice to accompanying officials that he would plant trees that day.

At the moment the officials were dismayed to hear his saying, because it was not easy to dig pits, for the soil was not yet smelted.

But the respected General Secretary headed for the place to plant trees.

After a while, he reached there and spaded up the soil in person.

The lunchtime passed very much unawares.

So an official requested him to stop working, but he devoted all energies to tree-planting while teaching the officials common knowledge about tree-planting.

Looking up to the respected General Secretary, the officials were moved deeply.

After planting trees for a long time that day, he earnestly instructed to plant and tend more trees to turn the surroundings of the unit into greenery.

Hearing his instructions, the officials kept in their minds the profound meaning of patriotism.

Highly Praising Their Deeds

It happened when the respected General Secretary visited a county four years ago.

Taking a car along the foot of the mountains, the respected General Secretary sometimes told to slow down or sometimes to stop to look out at the thickly wooded mountains of the county.

That day he called a senior official of the county and said that he was pleased to see the mountains full of trees and that it seemed that the county had lots of patriots.

The official felt a lump in his throat.

Because the respected General Secretary valued their sincere efforts and called them patriots though it was their bounden duty to take care of the green forests of the country.

The General Secretary highly appreciated again that they formed forests nicely in the surrounding mountains and, in particular, they planted the trees in a good combination.

Even when he looked at the trees in the mountain, the General Secretary thought of patriotism of those who planted them and took care of them.

While feasting his eyes on the green forests for a long time, the General Secretary bestowed continued precious praise that they had done a lot of work in the county.

Thanks to the warm love of the respected General Secretary, the ranks of patriots are on increase day by day in our country.
