True to the grandiose plan and intention of the Central Committee of the Workers’Party of Korea, a vigorous struggle is now under way throughout the country to implement the Regional Development 20×10 Policy.
The policy is a strategic programme for the development of regional industry which the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un solemnly declared as a state policy on the basis of setting out the policy orientation and confirming the feasibility of its implementation in all aspects through the stage of experience accumulation in order to improve the living standards of regional people.
The new regional development policy is of great significance in accomplishing the revolutionary cause of the Party, as it is an unprecedentedly gigantic revolutionary programme in terms of the breadth and depth of change, the timeline of implementation and the turn in the realm of the people ’ s understanding.
The great significance of the grand Regional Development 20 ×10 Policy enforced by the Party lies, first of all, in the fact that another historic task is to be carried out in realizing the long-cherished desire of the Party for bringing only happiness to the people and rising generations.
It also lies in that all sectors and all units of socialist construction will bring about changes and turns in a multi-stage, three-dimensional and offensive way to bring earlier the victory in the building of a powerful country.
The WPK is a dignified party which has never failed to carry out what it was determined to do and an authoritative party which is sure to keep its promises with the people at any cost.
The new regional development policy put forward by the Party Central Committee is the most scientific one that is perfectly practicable.
When the WPK’s new regional development policy is put into practice and the regional people enjoy as rich and civilized material and cultural life as the urban people, the song “We Are the Happiest in the World” will resound more loudly as an all-people hymn praising the era of the Workers ’ Party symbolic of the DPRK both in name and reality.
