Pyongyang, March 28 (KCNA) -- A delegation of the External Intelligence Bureau (EIB) of the Russian Federation led by its Director Sergei E. Narishkin visited Pyongyang from March 25 to 27.
During the visit, talks were held between Ri Chang Dae, minister of State Security of the DPRK, and Sergei E.Narishkin, director of the EIB of the Russian Federation, and the working-level talks between officials of the Ministry of State Security of the DPRK and members of the delegation of the EIB of the Russian Federation.
At both talks, the two sides briefed each other about the views on the present international and regional situation regarding the Korean peninsula and Russia, and widely and deeply discussed practical issues for further boosting cooperation to cope with the ever-growing spying and plotting moves by the hostile forces.
The two sides reached a complete consensus of views on the issues on the table at the two talks that proceeded in a comradely and amicable atmosphere. -0-
