Meaningful Story about Family Photo Album

Jang Kum Nyo, a resident in Manyong-dong, Tonghungsan District in Hamhung City, has a meaningful family photo album.

On the first page of the album is a photo taken with Kim Chol Ok and her daughter.

Whenever seeing the photo, Jang recollects the days when they became one family.

One day 10-odd years ago a woman visited Jang Kum Nyo. She was Kim Chol Ok saying that she came to know the fact that Jang was widowed and alone without children and she decided to live together. Kim is one of Jang’s disciples.

Jang was grateful for her disciple’s sincerity but she refused her proposal and talked her about lots of people took care of her.

However, Kim Chol Ok visited her teacher everyday and persuaded her.

At last Jang Kum Nyo agreed to live together and had a daughter and granddaughter. Kim Chol Ok has devoted love and affection to Jang. Looking at their harmonious appearances, people praise their family to the skies.

As time passed by the photo album continued to have more photos of grateful persons.

Jang Kum Nyo says: "As the system is best, I spend the rest of life with pleasure."

Phone Call Made by Medical Official

One February day, Han Un Hyok living in Hahyon-dong of Sonbong District, Rason Municipality, got a phone from Ri Song Hyok, chief surgeon of the Sonbong District Hospital.

While sharing greetings with him, Han’s heart was getting warm.

Because Ri asked in detail about Han’s health conditions after discharge from the hospital through the phone.

A year before, Han had been urgently sent to the hospital due to an unexpected happening.

Medical workers of the hospital had devoted their sincerity to Han.

For Family with Many Children

On the morning of the March 8 International Women’s Day Kim Myong Il, a worker of the Kwanmun Office for Controlling Elevator, and his family were livened up unusually with members of neighborhood unit and many persons who congratulated his wife Son Yong Ae raising five children.

Seeing them who mixed with his children without reserve as if they were family members, Kim and his wife were moved to tears.

There were members who had learned about his living conditions and taken measures in time and persons who had visited his house frequently to devote kindred affection to his family while preparing in set the daily necessaries ranging from his children’s clothes and shoes to the kitchen utensils.

That day visitors spent enjoyable times while singing songs together with Kim’s family members.

Recollecting the grateful persons who have shown their sincerity to them saying that to put forward the family with many children and take warm care of them are intention of the Party, Kim and his wife were firmly determined to repay the country’s benevolence.
