Pyongyang, April 12 (KCNA) -- The International Alliance of Societies for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Policy in East European and Central Asian Regions held a meeting on March 31 to celebrate the 112th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung .
Speeches were made at the meeting attended by the general secretary and members of the international alliance.
Mikhail Panchenko, general secretary of the international alliance, praised the great Comrade Kim Il Sung as an outstanding thinker-theoretician and an prominent leader who built a socialist state independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in national defence in Korea.
Vadim Kudimin, director of the Russian Institute of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, Glev Lavrentiev, chairman of the All-Russian Society for the Study and Dissemination of Kimilsungism, Dmitri Kostenko, chairman of the Russian Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, and other Russian personages said that the great Comrade Kim Il Sung built a state serving the people and laid a solid foundation for the self-reliant defence capability to provide a sure guarantee for the victorious advance of the DPRK people.
Kim Il Sung , who laid the cornerstone of the Russia-DPRK friendly and cooperative relations, is a close friend of the Russian people, they said, adding that the world people are avidly reading the works of the peerlessly great man with boundless reverence and the enthusiasm for studying and disseminating the Juche idea is growing stronger in the international community.
They wished the DPRK people fresh successes in building a powerful socialist country under the wise guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un .
A congratulatory message to the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un was adopted at the meeting. -0-
