Pyongyang, April 13 (KCNA) -- A national oratorical meeting took place at the People's Palace of Culture here on April 12 to mark the 112th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung .
Present there were Ju Chang Il, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), Jon Kyong Chol, vice department director of the C.C., WPK, and officials and working people in Pyongyang.
The performers sang the praises of the noble revolutionary career and immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung who made an untrodden sacred revolutionary journey, regarding it as his lifetime motto to believe in the people as in Heaven.
In spite of his 80-year-old age, the President visited a chicken farm to provide the people with enough meat and eggs, they noted, stressing that he is the great father of the people.
They said that a bright prospect for building an educational power and a talented nation was opened, thanks to the undying feats of the President who established the first university of the people in the liberated country and devoted his heart and soul to the training of revolutionary talents while showing warm love and affection for every student.
They also mentioned the honor and pride of holding in high esteem the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un , who started a grandiose struggle for implementing the Regional Development 20×10 Policy in Songchon County of South Phyongan Province and is making a new history of great changes.
The performers praised the distinguished political caliber and extraordinary leadership ability of the General Secretary who has steadily brought about eye-opening events while solving all problems arising in socialist construction by dint of ideology. -0-
