Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) -- There took place an evening gala of youth and students at Kim Il Sung Square in Pyongyang on Sunday.
They danced with deep yearning for President Kim Il Sung who regarded it as his lifetime motto to believe in the people as in Heaven and glorified the country as the eternal people's country.
Resounded far and wide in the square were songs reflecting the ardent reverence for the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who is ushering in a new era of prosperity in which the intention and desire of the President are translated into a brilliant reality.
The songs filled with vigour and enthusiasm of the young people of the present era who are leading a worthwhile life along with the noble call of socialist patriotic youth, regarding the great trust and honor given by the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea as the treasure of their life, added to vitality in the venue of evening gala.
Fireworks were displayed at the square where flags of the DPRK and the youth league fluttered.
The crowd broke into wonders and cheers, watching various kinds of fireworks displayed in the sky above the square.
The evening gala reached its climax with the chorus "We Will Defend General Kim Jong Un with Our Lives" sung by the participants with firm will to dynamically advance toward the rosy future of a thriving country by dint of the strength of patriotism and unity, united close around the Party with the single-minded unity. -0-
