State Commendations Conferred to Workers, Technicians and Officials of Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex

Pyongyang, April 15 (KCNA) -- State commendations were awarded to workers, technicians and officials of the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex who distinguished themselves in establishing a new system of producing the Juche-based iron on the occasion of April 15, the greatest national holiday.
The workers of the complex successfully installed the energy-saving oxygen heat blast furnace and oxygen separators with the capacity of 15 000 cubic meters per hour with the faith of self-reliance through indomitable struggle and thus fully demonstrated the spirit of dynamic advance of Juche Korea and provided a sure guarantee for steady development of national economy.
A ceremony of awarding state commendations took place at the complex on April 14.
Present there were Kim Yong Hwan, chief secretary of the North Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, officials and employees of the complex.
Kim Yong Hwan read a decree of the Standing Committee of the Supreme People’s Assembly of the DPRK.
Kim Il Sung Youth Honor Prize was conferred on Ryang Hyok Chol and Ho Jong Hun.
The Title of Merited Designer was awarded to Kim Chol Man.
The Order of National Flag First Class was conferred on nine persons, the Order of Labour on 22 persons, the Order of National Flag Second Class on 172, the Order of National Flag Third Class on 522 and Medal of Merit on 1 013. -0-
