There took place a performance of art groups of university students at the Youth Park Open-Air Theatre in the capital city of Pyongyang on April 14 to celebrate the 112th birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung .
Among the audience were Ri Tu Song, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, officials of the youth league and youth and students in the city.
Performers sang highly of the immortal exploits of the peerless patriot who turned the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea into an invincible power dignified with independence, prosperous with self-supporting in the economy and strong with self-reliance in national defence.
The atmosphere of the performance was revved up by the numbers representing the determination of the rising generation to make a tangible contribution to the comprehensive development of Korean-style socialism by preparing themselves to be revolutionary talents with noble spiritual and moral traits and high ability.
The audience was deeply moved by the numbers showing the revolutionary and patriotic enthusiasm of young people to steadily follow the road of loyalty and patriotism, firmly defending and adhering to the revolutionary tradition of Paektu, the eternal cornerstone of the Korean revolution, and adding more shine to it.
The performance ended with the finale “We Are Successor to Revolution” and “We Will Remain Faithful to You to the End.”
