The 24th National Youth and Children's Festival of Loyalty closed in the DPRK.
The festival strikingly demonstrated the indomitable faith and will of the Korean youth and children to add eternal lustre to the immortal exploits performed by Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, the great leaders, for the development of the Korean youth movement and successfully accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche under the leadership of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un.
Pyongyang Municipality was placed first, South Hamgyong Province finished runner-up and South Phyongan Province and the Ministry of Railways came third in total standings.
A closing ceremony took place at the Central Youth Hall in Pyongyang on April 18.
Letters of commendation of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, pennants and others were conferred on the organizations which distinguished themselves at the festival.
Mun Chol, chairman of the youth league central committee, made a closing address.
