Meetings of Activists of UAWK in Displaying Noble Traits Held in DPRK

Pyongyang, April 21 (KCNA) -- Meetings of activists of the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea (UAWK) in displaying noble traits took place in Pyongyang Municipality and provinces of North Phyongan, South Hwanghae, Kangwon, North Hamgyong and Ryanggang respectively. Present there were officials concerned, officials and members of the UAWK, activists in displaying noble traits. At the meetings, reporters and speakers said that the meetings provided under the loving care of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un serve as an occasion to demonstrate the noble ideological and moral traits of the members of the union who are devoting their patriotic strength and enthusiasm to the road of advance for attaining the goal of grain production set forth by the Workers' Party of Korea, cherishing the honor and pride of being performers and masters of the rural revolution. They noted that Kim Jong Un has put forward the agricultural workers as faithful and patriotic working people who always share the intention with the Party and cast their destiny with socialism, firmly defend the rural position and safeguard the Party and revolution with increased rice. They said that Kim Jong Un awarded high state commendations to the farmers who fulfilled their duty as masters responsible for the granary of the country and sent medicines personally prepared by his family to the people of South Hwanghae Province. His great loving care served as a source of strength and pabulum of growth that brought up the members of the union to be true patriots they added. They expressed their determination to turn out as one in the drive for implementing the decisions of the December 2023 Plenary Meeting of the Party Central Committee, bearing deep in mind the trust and expectations of the Party, thus making signal successes on the agricultural front. The reporters and speakers called upon all the officials and members of the union to fulfill their honorable mission and duty as the vanguard in the struggle for the development of the Korean-style socialist rural communities under the uplifted slogan "Unite with patriotism!" under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.
