Pyongyang, April 22 (KCNA) -- A splendid appearance of the socialist cultural village spread at the Unjong Livestock Farm of the North Hwanghae Provincial Rural Economy Committee in the DPRK under the energetic guidance of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) ushering in a new era of regional changes.
Through diverse mass movements and socialist emulation drive for strengthening the material and technical foundation of rural construction and giving full play to the mental power of the masses, the builders have built dwelling houses for several hundred flats by actively introducing advanced construction methods and efficient utensils and tools.
A ceremony for moving into new houses took place on the spot on Sunday.
Present there were Pak Chang Ho, chief secretary of the North Hwanghae Provincial Committee of the WPK, officials of the Party and power organs in Pongsan County, builders and officials who contributed to the construction and agricultural workers who would move into new houses.
Kim Son Il, chairman of the North Hwanghae Provincial People's Committee, made a congratulatory speech.
Then licenses for the use of houses were conveyed and speeches were made.
The villages were filled with a festive mood amid delightful peasants' music and dances.
