Pyongyang, April 26 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un , general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, watched the evaluation test-fire of 240 mm shell of a multiple rocket launcher produced at a newly established national defence industrial enterprise under the Second Economy Commission on April 25.
Through the test-fire, the flight features, hit and concentration indices of the shell which was produced at the newly established national defence industrial enterprise were evaluated very satisfactorily.
The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un stressed the need for the relevant national defence industry enterprise to surely carry out the munitions production plan for this year in a qualitative way.
He affirmed that the 240mm multiple rocket launcher system with new technology would bring about a strategic change in bolstering up the artillery force of the Korean People's Army.
Pak Jong Chon and Jo Chun Ryong, secretaries of the C.C., the WPK, Kim Jong Sik, vice department director of the C.C., the WPK, and Ko Pyong Hyon, chairman of the Second Economy Commission, guided the relevant test. -0-
