A friendly meeting of young people of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and Russia was held in Vladivostok of Russia on the 26th to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the meeting between Kim Jong Un, President of the State Affairs of the DPRK, and Vladimir Putin, President of the Russian Federation.
Present there were members of the Korean youth friendship delegation headed by Kim Song Il, Vice-Chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, the DPRK Consul General in Vladivostok of Russia and staff members of his mission, and personages of the Legislative Assembly of MaritimeTerritory, the International Cooperation Department of the Government of Maritime Territory and the Coordinating Council of the All-Russia Social Organization "United RussiaYoung Guards" and other people of Russia.
Speeches were made at the meeting.
The head of the DPRK youth friendship delegation and the consul general of the DPRK told about the immortal exploits performed by the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for the development of the DPRK-Russia friendly relations and stressed that the first visit to Russia made by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in April 2019 served as a turning point in further developing the relations between the two countries in conformity with the requirements of the new era.
They said the young people should strengthen comradely solidarity and cooperation and revitalize many-sided exchanges and visits in the journey of extensively implementing the agreements reached at the historic summit meeting true to the noble intentions of the leaders of the two countries.
The Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of MaritimeTerritory and the Chairman of the Coordinating Council of the All-Russia Social Organization "United RussiaYoung Guards" of Russia said Russia will always stand together with the DPRK in the struggle for building a just, new world and expressed their will to actively realize exchanges and cooperation in the youth work and in different fields according to the spirit of agreements reached at the DPRK-Russia summit meeting.
