Birth anniversary of President Kim Il Sung marked abroad Meetings, seminars, round-table talks, lectures, book and photo exhibitions, film shows and other colourful events took place in Mongolia, Iran, Thailand, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Romania, France, Kirghizstan and Mexico on the occasion of the 112th birth anniversary of the great leader Kim Il Sung.
Present at the events were many people including personages from all walks of life in those countries.
Screened at the film shows were documentaries showing the noble greatness of Kim Il Sung revered by all people and programs on the remarkable development of socialist Korea.
Speeches were made at the events.
Speakers described President Kim Il Sung as a great leader, outstanding statesman and model of genuine internationalists who rendered tremendous services to the Korean revolution and the world revolution.
They said the Democratic People's Republic of Korea has become a powerful country recognized by the world thanks to President Kim Il Sung, leader Kim Jong Il and His Excellency Kim Jong Un, though it is not a big country.
Meanwhile, a seminar was held under the sponsorship of the Korean Friendship Association on the same occasion.
