Pyongyang, May 21 (KCNA) -- The Central Committee of the Dancers Union of Korea directs efforts to the development of national dances.
The union has substantially operated the Sub-Committee of Critics and the Sub-Committee of Choreographers with the main emphasis on properly carrying forward and developing the national dances and broadening the outlook of creators and artistes in the field of dance, while giving an essential helping hand to preserve and refine the true colors of the national dances through various forms of articles.
It has also frequently organized symposiums on aesthetics for grasping the systems, principles and peculiarities of the national dances and helped creators, artistes and teachers from research institutions, art troupes and dance educational units share successes and experience with each other and boost cooperation. -0-
