West Coast Exchange, North Korea Watcher Conference, Sept. 2026

Pyongyang, May 23 (KCNA) -- The frontline-style motivation work is brisk at socialist farm fields seething with rice-transplanting. The Central Committee of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea (SWUK) and its organizations at all levels concentrate all their efforts on encouraging the masses to carry out the immediate farming processes including rice-transplanting. The art squad of the Central Committee of the SWUK encouraged the working people with colorful programs including songs, comic stories and motivation dramas at farms in Nampho Municipality including Kangso District, Onchon County and Ryonggang County. The art squads of the women's union in South Hwanghae Province visited farms to encourage agricultural workers and helpers through fresh motivation. The all-people hymn "Dear Father" sung by the members of the women's union in Kowon County, South Hamgyong Province, made the worksites full of the glory and happiness of the Korean people who are leading a genuine life under the care of the benevolent father and the enthusiasm to uphold the Workers' Party of Korea's programme for the rural revolution in the new era with increased grain production. Members of the women's union in cities of Phyongsong and Sunchon and Phyongwon County of South Phyongan Province visited farms associated with the leadership exploits of the peerlessly great men and conducted several motivation activities with great influence and strong appeal every day. Members of the women's union in North Phyongan and Kangwon provinces and Kaesong Municipality displayed revolutionary slogans and mottos in every field and raised the efficiency of the motivation for increased production.
