Pyongyang, May 24 (KCNA) -- Trade union organizations at all levels in the DPRK launched mass movements for revitalizing the production in regional-industry factories, thus creating tens of thousands of hectares of raw material bases.
The Songchon County trade union committee of South Phyongan Province organized a mass movement to plant oil crops in scores of hectares of raw material bases. The Kujang County trade union committee of North Phyongan Province conducted shock brigade activities for expanding the area of raw material forests in conformity with the production capacity of regional-industry factories.
Trade union officials in Tongsin County of Jagang Province and Orang County of North Hamgyong Province have reclaimed over 100 hectares of raw material bases and created hundreds of hectares of Evodia daniellii Benn forests through mass movement and thus contributed to laying the production foundation of regional-industry factories.
The same is true of trade union members in Kosan County of Kangwon Province, Kumya County of South Hamgyong Province, Yonthan County of North Hwanghae Province, Onchon County of Nampho Municipality and Jangphung County of Kaesong Municipality. -0-
