Pyongyang, May 24 (KCNA) -- Pak In Chol, chairman of the Supreme People's Assembly (SPA) of the DPRK, met a delegation of the Federation Council of Russia headed by Grigori Rapota, chairman of the Russia-DPRK Friendly Parliamentary Group and member of the International Affairs Committee of the Federation Council, which paid a courtesy call on him at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on Thursday.
He had a talk with the delegation in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Present there were Ri Chol, president of the Academy of Medical Science under the Ministry of Public Health who is chairman of the DPRK-Russia Friendly Parliamentary Group, officials concerned and Alexandr Matsegora, Russian ambassador to the DPRK.
Earlier, talks were held between the chairman of the DPRK-Russia Friendly Parliamentary Group and the chairman of the Russia-DPRK Friendly Parliamentary Group.
Discussed at the talks were the issues of further developing the exchange and cooperation between the assemblies of the two countries. -0-
