One November day, Juche 110(2021), the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un inspected the construction site of Samjiyon City.
That day, going round Rimyongsu-dong of Samjiyong City, he learned in detail about its construction progress.
Enjoying a bird’s eye view of the construction of Rimyongsu-dong, he appreciated that new dwelling houses and public establishments were built to suit the features of canyon.
And he expressed his satisfaction at the fact that single- and low-storied buildings were arranged well by making the most of the natural curves and slopes, saying that it might please the residents in Rimyongsu-dong.
The respected General Secretary, looking round accompanying officials, stressed that they should not content with just sprucing up the city of Samjiyon; and that the project of sprucing up the city was merely an initial step for implementing the Party’s strategic plan to develop all of 200-odd cities and counties across the country.
Then he instructed that we should consolidate and popularize the success and experiences gained in the course of sprucing up the city of Samjiyon to face-lift every part of the country.
Underlining the need to spruce up all cities and counties simultaneously and concurrently at the same high level as the face-lifted Samjiyon City, he mentioned that the main task for us was to provide our people with cultured living conditions by mapping out the proper plan for developing cities and counties and pushing ahead with it persistently.
That day, he gave precious instructions in sprucing up the cities and counties:
The construction should be done with proper order and the cities and counties should put efforts into strengthening construction forces; this project should be regarded as a nationwide undertaking and organizational and institutional measures should be taken. ..
Hearing his instructions, the officials pictured to themselves the rosy future of our country in which every city and county has been turned into the socialist paradises thanks to the loving care of the respected General Secretary.
