Pyongyang, May 28 (KCNA) -- Today the Korean people are dynamically stepping up the general advance to accelerate the overall development of socialist construction under the uplifted slogan "Let us transform all our revolutionary positions in line with the demands of the three revolutions!", Rodong Sinmun on Tuesday says in an editorial. The editorial goes on: To implement the Regional Development 20×10 Policy set forth by the Workers' Party of Korea in carrying out this historic cause holds an important place in pushing ahead with the building of regions in line with the demands of the three revolutions. The grand start of the regional-industry revolution to press ahead with the Regional Development 20×10 Policy has provided every city and county with another weapon to accelerate the building of regions in line with the demands of the three revolutions. The regional-industry revolution will propel the three revolutions in cities and counties in view of their content and scope and the spiritual world of the local people and the influence on the regional economy. If more than 200 cities and counties across the country rise up as one to implement the regional development policy, it will pave a wide avenue for successfully attaining the high goal of the three revolutions by equipping the regional people more thoroughly with the Party’s ideology, laying the scientific and technological foundations for ensuring the sustainable development of the regional economy, making all the working people well-versed in science and technology and eliminating all cultural backwardness. The thorough implementation of our Party’s regional development policy is a shortcut to attaining the high goal of the three revolutions and hastening the overall development of socialist construction. Firm is the Party's determination and will to speed up the ideological, technical and cultural revolutions remarkably through the implementation of the new regional development policy.
