Women's union officials, members volunteer for major fronts of socialist construction

Many officials and members of the women's union volunteered for major fronts of socialist construction.
Many women's union members in South Phyongan Province, including those in Pukchang County and Sunchon and Kaechon cities, volunteered to work in the agricultural sector.
Women's union members in Ryanggang Province, including those in Hyesan City and Kapsan and Samsu counties of the province, volunteered to work at factories and farms.
Those in Wonsan City of Kangwon Province also offered to work at light industry factories and those in Munchon City and Chonnae County of the province at a garment factory.
Women's union members in Kusong City and Unsan, Ryongchon and Phihyon counties of North Phyongan Province volunteered to work at forestry management stations and landscaping stations and those in Sonchon, Yomju and Tongrim counties of the province at different units including salterns and light industry factories.
A primary women’s union official and members of the women's union in Kyongwon County, North Hamgyong Province, offered to work at the county’s raw materials base development company, and women's union members in Chongjin and Kim Chaek cities and Onsong, Orang, Musan and Myongchon counties of the province at the Chongjin School Uniform Factory and a farm.
Thousands of women's union officials and members in North Hwanghae Province, too, volunteered to work on major fronts.
