To give full play to the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance is not an economic and technical problem limited to securing a guarantee for production growth but an important undertaking related with the dignity, development and destiny of the country.
In December Juche (106) 2017, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un inspected a factory.
When he arrived at the factory, he held the officials by the hands one by one, gently saying that he had come to thank the workers of the factory who had made collective innovations in the production, thus solving a problem urgently wanted by the Party and inspiring him greatly.
The officials felt embarrassed at such high praise of his.
Presently, the respected General Secretary stroked the products reflective of the patriotic devotion of the factory workers and expressed satisfaction saying that they had done a really good job.
He went on to say that he couldn’t repress heartfelt gratitude to the factory workers who had played a big role in making the production Juche-oriented and realizing home production of the goods and that he would bow to them expressing his thanks.
Only then, the officials keenly realized why the respected General Secretary appreciated their achievement so highly.
It was none other than their spirit of self-reliance.
To him, the workers’ spirit of valuing their own things and their zeal for adding glory to them were the most precious and the products, born of such ardent patriotism, were the greatest treasures.
On the unforgettable day, he said that the proud achievement made by the factory was a mighty demonstration of the fact that the Party’s decision meant science and victory and a practical proof that no fortress in the world was insurmountable and no obstacle insuperable when the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance was fully displayed.
Bearing his teachings in their minds, the officials strongly felt that self-reliance was the very sword defending the dignity of our state and bringing earlier our rosy future.
