Pyongyang, May 30 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers of the General Bureau of the Tanchon Area Mining Industry of the DPRK make innovative successes in the construction of a magnificent ravine town in Komdok area.
They finished the earth removal and foundation work in a short span of time and have sped up the framework of houses at the final stage while pushing ahead with the construction of retaining walls and facilities and the interior and exterior plastering in a three-dimensional way.
The construction commanding staffs are giving priority to the organization of labor and the supply of materials and intensifying the review and evaluation of all work processes as required by the design and construction methods.
The Tanchon Smeltery Battalion has accelerated the removal of waste and bedrock in a mobile way and put the construction guidance on a scientific basis while introducing practical construction methods and giving priority to ensuring quality.
Builders from the Tanchon Mining Machine Factory, the Ryongchon Mine and other units have fulfilled their daily plan while raising the operation rate of excavators, hydraulic loaders and other heavy machines.
The Komdok Mining Complex and other units, too, have introduced labor- and material-saving methods to provide a guarantee for speeding up the construction project.
Women's union members of the General Bureau of the Tanchon Area Mining Industry are rendering material and moral assistance to the construction project while contributing to the land leveling and landscaping. -0-
