Many villages and farms across the country have been face-lifted thanks to the gigantic plan for rural prosperity unfolded by the Workers' Party of Korea.
According to available data, the new splendid rural houses have been built for 44 000-odd families at hundreds of farms throughout the country since the programme for the rural revolution in the new era was indicated by the Party.
In the first half of this year, the new dwelling houses for 18 000-odd families have been built at over 60 farms; and houses for 113 700-odd families have been built and being built briskly in different parts of the country.
Now the rural housing construction is promoted all over the country and the designs of every dwelling house are characteristic of relevant regions such as coastal areas, flat areas and mountainy areas.
In addition, rational construction methods were introduced continuously and many production bases for building materials were arranged in every part of the country.
Meanwhile, plenty of construction equipment and tools and implements were provided and construction forces are being reinforced with veteran builders of rural housing construction.
And the work for afforestation and building convenient shared stalls is being pushed ahead with vigorously.
The flame of rural rejuvenation is being kindled fiercely throughout the country and the overall development and prosperity of the socialist construction will be further hastened.
