Greetings to Russian President

Pyongyang, June 12 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, sent a message of greeting to Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, president of the Russian Federation, on June 12. He in the message extended warm congratulations and comradely greetings on behalf of the DPRK government and all the Korean people to the Russian president and, through him, to the friendly Russian government and people on the occasion of the national day of the Russian Federation. Under your energetic and correct leadership, the Russian people have confidently advanced along the road of building powerful and prosperous Russia while frustrating all challenges and sanctions and pressure of the hostile forces and reliably defending the sovereignty, security and development interests of the country, and made remarkable successes in this journey, the message said, adding: Our people are always rejoiced over the achievements made in Russia, a friendly neighbor, and are extending full support and solidarity to the sacred cause of the Russian army and people who are vigorously advancing towards justice and truth. Thanks to the significant meeting between us at the Vostochney Spaceport in September last year, the DPRK-Russia friendly and cooperative relations developed into an unbreakable relationship of comrades-in-arms and a long-standing strategic relationship and are steadily developing into the higher-level state relations. The meaningful ties and close comradely relations, to be continued between us in the future, will further consolidate the eternal milestone of the DPRK-Russia relations in the new era and, on this basis, strongly promote the cause of building a powerful nation in the two countries and make a positive contribution to realizing the global peace and security and the genuine international justice. Only victory and prosperity are always in store for the peoples of the two countries who are firmly united with common aspiration and ideal. I take this opportunity to heartily wish you good health and greater success in your responsible and noble work, expressing belief that the cause of the Russian government and people for building a great, prosperous and powerful country will be surely accomplished.
