Pyongyang, June 14 (KCNA) -- Primary information workers of the women's union from across the DPRK made a study tour of revolutionary battle sites in the area of Mt Paektu.
They toured Chongbong and Konchang bivouacs and visited Chairman Kim Jong Il 's birthplace in the Paektusan Secret Camp.
Seeing historic relics at his old home, they keenly felt the great personality of Kim Jong Il who grew up, hearing the gun report as a lullaby during the great anti-Japanese war, and demonstrated the mightiness of the country with the pluck and courage of Paektu.
They climbed the top of Mt Paektu.
They visited the Monument to the Victorious Battle of Musan Area through the Sinsadong Revolutionary Battle Site. They deeply grasped the exploits for national liberation performed by President Kim Il Sung , who led the anti-Japanese armed struggle to victory.
Being briefed on the historic significance of the Battle of Musan Area, they looked round the command post of the Battle of Taehongdan, etc.
During the tour they explained the policies of the Workers' Party of Korea among the working people at the Junghung Farm in Samjiyon City of Ryanggang Province associated with the leadership exploits of the Party and conducted colorful political and cultural activities. -0-
