Pyongyang, June 16 (KCNA) --The Central Retraining Institute in the DPRK made successes in improving the qualifications and abilities of university teachers.
Officials of the Ministry of Education and relevant units scrupulously organized the work to conduct in-service training and training courses for teachers and researchers in the field of higher education across the country.
In-service training and training courses for raising the qualities of teachers in active service are intensifying.
Officials and researchers at the institute select subjects, assign tasks and prepare for the teaching with much effort.
It is paying primary attention to informing university teachers of the problems arising in introducing the new superior teaching methods, experience and modern educational ability in keeping with the specific conditions so that university teachers and researchers can acquire high teaching ability as well as cyclopedic knowledge of their specialties.
The in-service training and training courses also disseminate knowledge for designing, making and operating artificial intelligence products in the field of the teachers' specialties and deal with the issues arising in teaching their subjects in foreign languages.
