The forestry sector has planted tens of million trees on more than 10,000 hectares of cutover and treeless places this year.
The Ministry of Forestry has worked out a tree-planting plan on the basis of grasping the forest situation of the cyclic felling areas and conducted the work to raise the rooting rate of the planted trees.
Officials and workers of the Songwon Mine Prop Production Station and the Kophung Forestry and Afforestation Station under the Jagang Provincial Forestry Management Bureau planted a lot of trees while observing technical requirements in the work of every process such as pit digging.
