Hundreds of dwelling houses have been built on the Thaephyong Farm in Hyangsan County of Jagang Province in the DPRK.
The modern houses whose styles are peculiar to mountainous areas show the benevolence of the Workers’ Party of Korea making an effort to ensure the agricultural workers enjoy socialist civilization to their heart’s content.
A ceremony for moving into new houses took place on the spot on June 16.
Present there were Han Chil Song, secretary of the Jagang Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, and officials of the Party and power organs, builders and agricultural workers in Hyangsan County.
A speech was made.
Then licenses for the use of houses were handed over and speeches were made.
Amid the cheerful dances in different parts of the new villages, officials visited the new houses of the farmers to share the pleasure with them.
