Pyongyang, June 19 (KCNA) -- Chairman Kim Jong Il 's start of work at the supreme staff of the Korean revolution on June 19, Juche 53 (1964) was a historic event that marked a new milestone in the development of the Workers' Party of Korea and the history of the Juche revolution, says Rodong Sinmun in an article on June 19.
Kim Jong Il is a great master of the revolutionary party building and a peerless elder statesman as he steadily developed the WPK into the organizer and guide of all victories of the Korean people, the article says, and continues:
In the early days of leading the party-building cause, he clarified the original idea of modeling the whole Party on the leader’s ideology and ensured that the work of establishing the monolithic ideological system was consistently held fast to as a main task in party building.
He formulated the revolution as love and trust in the people and applied them to the party building and activities, thus bringing about a new appearance of the WPK.
During the whole period of his revolutionary leadership, Kim Jong Il wisely led the WPK to make great leaps forward and innovations one after another in socialist construction by thoroughly applying the Juche-oriented principle, method and mode of leadership.
His party-building exploits are now being successfully carried forward and developed on the highest level under the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un .
As there are the immortal party-building exploits of Kim Jong Il who developed the WPK into a powerful revolutionary party of Juche and the outstanding idea and leadership of Kim Jong Un who is ushering in a new heyday of strengthening the whole Party, the WPK will continue displaying the prestige and glory of the state and people while fully demonstrating to the whole world its absolute power as a ruling party and its guiding power. -0-
