Pyongyang, June 24 (KCNA) -- The second round of the 2023-2024 DPRK Premier Football League came to a close on Sunday.

According to the total results of the first and second rounds, the April 25 Team and the Sobaeksu Team are taking the first place with 44 points each, followed by the Ryomyong Team and the Amnokgang Team with 42 and 41 points.

In the second round, 21 out of the total 66 matches ended in a draw and 185 scores were registered.

Compared with the second round of the last premier, the number of the drawn games and the average score per game increased four and 0.18 respectively.

The recent second round games also attracted football fans for unexpected results.

The Jebi Team beat the April 25 team, the strongest one in the homeland, and the Rimyongsu Team beat the Sobaeksu team 2:1 respectively. -0-
