Pyongyang, June 24 (KCNA) -- The 2024 Sports Contest of Revolutionary Schools took place at Mangyongdae Revolutionary School here from June 17 to 23.
The contest brought together more than 1 000 players selected from Mangyongdae Revolutionary School, Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School, Nampho Revolutionary School and Saenal Revolutionary School.
Among the audience were officials of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, youth league and armed forces organs and teaching staff and students of revolutionary schools.
The participants in the contest, divided into Myohyangsan, Kumgangsan, Kuwolsan and Chilbosan teams, conducted various sports and amusement games.
Mangyongdae Revolutionary School won the title in the male students' category and Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School in the female students' category.
A ceremony of awarding prizes took place.
The sports contest showed well the appearance of the students at revolutionary schools who are preparing themselves to be successors to the revolution and excellent pillars of the future reliably carrying forward the baton of the Juche revolution. -0-
