Pyongyang, June 25 (KCNA) -- Choe Son Hui, foreign minister of the DPRK, received a message of greeting from Saleumxay Kommasith, vice prime minister and foreign minister of Laos, on Monday on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The message said that the friendly and cooperative relations with excellent tradition, provided by President Kaysone Phomvihane, the respected leader of the Lao people, and President Kim Il Sung , the great leader of the Korean people, are now being firmly carried forward by Thongloun Sisoulith, president of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, and Kim Jong Un , president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, and bringing benefits to the peoples of the two countries.
Noting that the foreign ministries of the two countries have supported each other in the regional and international arenas, it wished Choe Son Hui and all the officials of the DPRK Foreign Ministry good health and happiness and success in their noble and honorable work. -0-
