Pyongyang, June 29 (KCNA) -- The past years from the day of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un 's election as the president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea were the days of fascination and reverence for the peerlessly great man.

Now the Korean people recall with deep emotion the legendary stories of love recorded in the country's history, expressing their heartfelt gratitude to the General Secretary who has written a history of noble harmonious whole of the leader and the people.

In May Juche 111 (2022) when the country was put in a state of health crisis due to a pandemic, Kim Jong Un convened a consultative meeting of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and indicated concrete ways for rapidly stabilizing the anti-epidemic situation. And he expressed his determination to always share his destiny with the people.

Offering the officinal medicines, prepared by his family, to the Party Committee of the Headquarters of the WPK Central Committee, he proposed to send them to households in difficult condition.

He called an emergency consultative meeting next day again and then visited pharmacies in the capital city to learn in detail about the supply and sale of medicines, stressing that all the officials should make selfless, devoted efforts for the good of the people with determination to take full responsibility for safety and wellbeing of the country and its people.

Thanks to his loving care, medics of the Korean People's Army were dispatched to the outposts of the anti-epidemic campaign in the capital city for the safety of citizens.

A special order, issued at the historic Third Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the WPK, reflected the noble outlook on the people cherished by the General Secretary, who regards the work for the people as the top-priority affair under any conditions and circumstances.

His journey of devotion to the people included a long journey by airplane and ship to the northern tip of the country for the people who lost their houses due to flood and a visit to the Komdok area by train running on a dangerous ravine railway temporarily built with wooden racks.

The Regional Development 20×10 Policy, adopted at the 19th enlarged meeting of the Political Bureau of the Eighth Central Committee of the WPK, gives birth to legendary tales about the centuries-old desires of local people now being translated into reality.

Such flourishing socialist living spaces as Songhwa, Rimhung and Jonwi streets go to clearly show whom the DPRK's policies are for.

On the New Year's day, a few years ago, the General Secretary dedicated his precious time to examining the samples of new school uniforms. And school uniforms were displayed at a conference hall of the Party Central Committee during its plenary meeting at which the important development orientation and guidelines of the Party and the revolution for a new year were adopted. All these stories tell his warm paternal love for the people.

He made sure that it was adopted as a policy to supply milk products and other nutritive foodstuffs to the children across the country at state expense.

Seeing the children go to school in new smart uniforms with Sonamu-brand bags containing Mindulle-brand notebooks and Haebaragi-brand school things, our people are convinced of the bright future of their country, a large socialist family cultivated by the General Secretary with his sincerity.
