Art groups of industrial establishments across the country are conducting positive artistic activities.

Among them is the art group of the Pyongyang Children's Foodstuff Factory.

Song of life and optimism

The artistic performance of the group is popular with workers.

They say that though the performance is simple, its numbers truthfully reflect their life, thereby leaving deep impression on the audience.

Dialogic poem "The Milk of Love" impressively represented the fact that they had urgently produced and supplied baby formula in the days when the top emergency anti-epidemic situation was created due to the worldwide spread of COVID-19.

Comedy "The Girl I Have Fallen in Love with" is a love story of a young man and woman who grow up to be innovators in the worthwhile working life. Mixed choruses "We Are a Worker Couple" and "The Youth of the New Day" were filled with workers' love for their workplaces and hope for the future and cheerful and vigorous melodies of an instrumental ensemble vividly showed the life of workers full of vigour and activity.

High cultural attainments, rich artistic skills

Though they are ordinary producers at workplace, the art group members win great admiration from the audience on the stage as they skilfully play two, three or even five musical instruments with remarkable cultural attainments.

Jon Ryong Bom who started his working career at the baby formula workshop plays brass instruments and arranges instrumental music.

Choe Un Ju, head of the art group, is a singer acclaimed by the audience and a gifted player of the accordion, guitar, drum, janggu and oungum.

They say that they are not gifted artistes, but they have honed their skills through brisk artistic activities in the factory’s art group.

The group has members in charge of vocal music, instrumental music and narration. They said that they have also acquired skills with strenuous efforts.

The factory found out their buds of artistic talents and has brought them into bloom through their art group activities.

Not only art group members but also all other employees of the factory are also enthusiastic in the production of mass literary works reflecting their life.

Their working life just becomes poems and songs to enrich emotions.

They say that the pride and honour of working at the workplace visited by General Secretary Kim Jong Un and the trust and expectation of the Party and the state in the workers producing foods for children, the king of the country, fire them with unusual creative enthusiasm.

The employees of the factory have overfulfilled their production plans every month as they conduct lively artistic activities.
