Pyongyang, July 6 (KCNA) -- Fishery units in Kangwon Province of the DPRK are carrying out the tasks for this yea.
The Songdowon Fishery Station has built all-purpose fishing boats with modern fishing gears and repaired the engines, hulls and fishing gears of fishing boats on a three-dimensional basis.
The Thongchon Fishery Station has made innovations in ship repair by producing necessary equipment and accessories by its own efforts and organizing labour rationally. The remodeling of more than 10 projects including sanatoriums and greenhouses is progressing at the final stage.
The Jangjin Fishery Station and other fishery units are directing primary efforts to improving the performance of fishing boats and expanding their capacity and sprucing up their appearance in accordance with the realistic plan for repair fishing boats and the plan for wharf project. -0-
