Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- More than 30 young people in Nampho Municipality of the DPRK volunteered to work at regional-industry factories and raw material bases in the municipality, true to the decisions of the Tenth Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.
Youths in Kangso District and Onchon and Ryonggang counties requested their organizations to send them to regional-industry factories, out of the will to glorify the honor of young vanguard in the drive for upholding the Party's plan.
Youth league members in Hanggu, Waudo and Taean districts petitioned to work at the raw material bases in their region with a single mind to contribute to the normal production at factories to be built under the loving care of the Party.
A meeting took place on the spot to congratulate the young volunteers.
Present there were Choe Yong, secretary of the Nampho Municipal Committee of the WPK, officials concerned, officials of the youth league and youth and students. Volunteer certificates were conferred and a congratulatory address and speeches made.
Officials and youth and students gave bouquets to the volunteers leaving for new revolutionary posts and encouraged them. -0-
