Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- The people of the DPRK are recollecting with deep emotion the undying feats of President Kim Il Sung , the peerlessly great man who built Korean-style socialism centered on the masses of the people and glorified the DPRK as a thriving socialist paradise, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary his demise.
The building of a socialist country, where the people are masters, was a great intention cherished by the President.
After embarking on the road of revolution in his teens, he founded the immortal Juche idea and wisely led the 20-year-long arduous anti-Japanese revolutionary struggle to achieve the historic cause of national liberation on August 15, Juche 34 (1945).
With the foundation of the DPRK on September 9, 1948, the Korean people could become the masters of the state and society and the independent and creative ones carving out their own destiny by themselves.
Under the leadership of the President, they won the Fatherland Liberation War to defend the sovereignty of the country and built a socialist power independent in politics, self-supporting in the economy and self-reliant in national defence on this land by making heroic epic of Chollima Korea from the war debris.
Thanks to his devotion and tireless efforts for the country and people, Korea, once eclipsed on the world map, could demonstrate its might as a socialist power of Juche and its people came to enjoy a genuine life and happiness.
That's why the Korean people are devoting their wisdom and enthusiasm to translate his noble desire into reality, holding him in high esteem as the founder of socialist Korea and the eternal President of the DPRK. -0-
