A symposium of social scientists took place on July 5 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the demise of President Kim Il Sung.
The symposium heard papers explaining and proving the immortal revolutionary exploits of the President who devoted his whole life to the sacred cause for the eternal prosperity of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the revolution with his rare ideological and theoretical wisdom and outstanding leadership.
Speakers said that the President was an outstanding thinker and theoretician as he founded the Juche idea and provided a sure guarantee for accomplishing the revolutionary cause of Juche.
They said that the President was a peerless elder statesman who led the revolutionary cause of Juche always to victory under the banner of independence.
The revolutionary career of the President is the life of a popular leader as he regarded “The people are God” as his motto and successfully applied it to practice, the speakers stressed.
They said that the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un is the supreme incarnation of revolutionary moral obligation as he is adding lustre to the sacred revolutionary careers and immortal exploits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il.
They called for carrying forward the development history of Kim Il Sung's nation and Kim Jong Il's Korea as the eternal history of dignity, glory and prosperity under the leadership of Kim Jong Un.
Present at the symposium were Thae Hyong Chol, president of the Academy of Social Sciences, and officials, lecturers and researchers in the fields of science, education and revolutionary relics and the institutions for training Party cadres.
