Pyongyang, July 8 (KCNA) -- The whole country is filled with boundless yearning for President Kim Il Sung , the peerlessly great sage and the father of the nation, and is in an atmosphere of deep mourning for him on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of his demise. The President performed great exploits to be eternally recorded in human history by devoting his whole life to the country and the people, the Juche revolution and the sacred cause of global independence.

The Korean people have steadily followed the path of sacred succession and the building of a rich country with a strong army decade after decade, cherishing their noble appellation of descendants of the great Comrade Kim Il Sung and single-hearted loyalty. They are solemnly looking up at the supreme temple of Juche with the iron will to realize the President’s desire for building a powerful country without fail under the leadership of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

Kim Jong Un , general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, visited the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun on July 8, a greatest national memorial day.

Accompanying him were Kim Tok Hun, Jo Yong Won, Choe Ryong Hae and Ri Pyong Chol, members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the WPK, other members of the central leadership body of the Party, deputies to the Supreme People's Assembly, officials of the WPK Central Committee and commanding officers of the armed forces organs.

A basket of flowers in the name of Kim Jong Un was laid before the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il .

Also placed at the statues were flower baskets in the name of the WPK Central Committee, the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK, the Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK and the Cabinet of the DPRK.

Kim Jong Un , together with other visitors, paid a high tribute in front of the statues of the great leaders.

At the hall where President Kim Il Sung is preserved in his lifetime appearance, he made a deep bow of best wishes for immortality to the President who paved the path to prosperity for eternally glorifying the dignity and prestige of socialist Korea and consolidated the eternal foundations for the cause of Juche and the building of a thriving nation, following the untrodden path of the arduous revolution with his outstanding ideas, leadership and undying patriotic devotion.

All the participants made a solemn pledge to bring earlier a new victory of the revolution with redoubled efforts and strenuous practice in the vanguard of the sacred struggle for the comprehensive rejuvenation and revolutionary development of their socialist state, remaining faithful to the ideology and leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un with a single mind of pure loyalty and patriotism. -0-
