An African and Arabian regional internet seminar took place in Abuja of Nigeria from July 4 to 8, under the co-sponsorship of the African Regional Committee for Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People and the Arab Regional Committee for Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People, to commemorate the 30th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung.

Present there were the secretary general of the African Regional Committee and personages of political parties and organizations of Nigeria, including the People’s Progressive Party, the All Progressive Congress and the Nigeria-Korea Friendship Association.

Attending it through video-conference were the chairmen of the African and Arab regional committees for friendship and solidarity with the Korean people, the chairman of the Korean Friendship Association UK, the secretary general of the Nepal-Korea Friendship Association and members of the friendship and solidarity organizations and Juche idea study groups of Guinea, Mali, DR Congo, Senegal, Equatorial Guinea, Uganda, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Algeria, Jordan, Brazil, Ecuador and Peru.

The chairman of the African Regional Committee made a keynote report at the seminar.

The exploits performed by President Kim Il Sung were miracles no great man in the world could achieve, the report said, adding that such a great man as the President who performed great and precious exploits could not be found in any era of history.

The future of the DPRK is rosy and the DPRK will always register victories on its course, thanks to His Excellency Kim Jong Un who is bolstering up the self-reliant defence capabilities for the security of the country, its people and posterity, it stressed.

Then followed speeches.

Speakers praised the President as a hero of the century, prominent philosopher and ardent revolutionary, who beat back the aggression by outsiders and achieved the national sovereignty and independence, and as a great master of independent politics and elder statesman of the international communist movement revered by the whole world and peerlessly great man who performed great feats for the cause of human liberation.

Saying that the whole life of Chairman Kim Jong Il was a sacred one of the great successor who left shining traces for the development of human thought and the accomplishment of the cause of independence, they stressed that his august name as a great man will shine long along with the prosperity of Juche Korea and the victorious advance of the human cause of independence.

It is natural to cherish the pride and honor of holding respected His Excellency Kim Jong Un in high esteem, they said, praising the great personality of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who is leading the Korean people to glory with his rare wisdom, distinguished leadership ability and noble virtues.

A message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar.
